A group of young, ambitious recruits in a Baden-Württemberg police special unit are pushed to their limits. One of them is 23-year-old Rebecca Henselmann, who is soon deployed on undercover operations. She is diligent and ambitious, just like her colleague Christoph Laurin, with whom Rebecca becomes close. Highly motivated, the young policewoman acts under the guidance of her instructor, Lars Menke, in operations against drug and weapons trafficking. In doing so, she also encounters abuse of power and right-wing extremist attitudes within the police force itself. In her hometown of Thuringia, Rebecca learned about the influence of right-wing extremists from police officer Werner Barth. Now she finds herself caught between the fronts of organized crime and the extreme right, whose connections sometimes even reach into her own unit. This knowledge proves to be her downfall.
