This is a platform for an amateur historian's mission to share what has been learned from a lifetime of reading and study into the history of the world from pre-history to the Modern day. It is hoped by the author that any one person who views the content of this channel will emerge, even if a little, wiser and more knowledgeable in world history. The owner of this channel does not presume to be all knowing and absolutely correct in the historical arguments and analysis that be produced for this channel - any opinions expressed in the videos uploaded as original work by THC will be those of the creator alone who will endeavor to ensure that they are evidence-based and reasonable. The objective of THC is to provide an objective and unbiased view of historical events from around the world. The year dating convention employed by THC will be that of Before Christ (BC) and Anno Domini (AD) as used traditionally in the Julian and Gregorian calendars.
