It is composed of SNH48 (Shanghai), BEJ48 (Beijing), GNZ48 (Guangzhou), CKG48 (Chongking), and CGT48 (Chengdu) with over 200 members. SNH48 Group is a generational group, with SNH48 formed in 2012, which means members "graduate" before reaching the maximum age of 30 and are constantly replaced by new generations of members. SNH48 currently has up to a 22nd generation. Groups are divided in teams that perform several shows weekly at one of 6 theaters throughout China.
