A monumental night, as this is the last time we see the Golden Couple together.
Goldust (w/ Marlena) fights against his old rival Hunter Hearst Helmsley (w/ D-Generation-X), as WWF bookers still don't know what to do with him after the tragic finale of his feud with Brian Pillman. The two of them faced each other for the last time back in June 1997, and yet here we go again, more than four months later.
Marlena's purse didn't do the trick this time, nor would it ever do it again... The first chapter of the Bizarre One's career is over, as we found out next week.
