Frank Bigelow (Edmond O’Brien, the prominent actor from films like The Wild Bunch or The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance), a small-town accountant, heads to San Francisco for a weekend with friends to celebrate his engagement to Paula Gibson (Pamela Britton).
