L'Appel du 18 juin est un film réalisé par Félix Olivier avec Michel Vuillermoz, Clément Roussier, Michel Bompoil, Sophie-Charlotte Husson, André Penvern.
On June 17, 1940, in the midst of the debacle of the French armies, Charles De Gaulle, an obscure Brigadier General promoted since June 6 Under Secretary of State for War, was received by Churchill and learned that Marshal Pétain had just called for an end to the fight and to ask Hitler for the conditions of an armistice. De Gaulle expressed to the English Prime Minister his desire to speak to the BBC, Churchill authorized him to do so. The next day, June 18, at 10 p.m., the general launched his call for resistance. The man who was until now only an unknown character of most of the French, suddenly acquires the dimension of a legendary character.
