Star Wars: Episode III is a US sci-fi space opera movie, written and directed by George Lucas. It was the sixth movie released in the Star Wars saga, being the third in the prequel trilogy. The plot describes an era in which the Jedi Knights have spread throughout the galaxy, leading a massive clone army to face the Galactic Separatists, three years after the start of the Clone Wars. Chancellor Palpatine was kidnapped and Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi, accompanied by his apprentice Anakin Skywalker, is sent to rescue him on a mission, where he must also eliminate the Separatist Leaders, Count Dooku and General Grievous, to conclude the conflict galactic. After being rescued, the Chancellor strengthens his friendship with Anakin, in order to convince him that there are greater benefits in the Dark Side of the Force, than in the Luminous Side. The Jedi Order begins to suspect the friendship between the Chancellor and Anakin, so he tries to find out the true objectives of Palpatine. When the Chancellor is discovered, suddenly, as the sinister Lord Sith Darth Sidious, the destinies of the Jedi Order and the Galactic Republic are exposed to an imminent danger.
