Superman III (1983), again under the direction of Richard Lester. The script and the story was left in charge of David and Leslie Newman. Initially it was thought that the villain was Brainiac, but for reasons of rights it could not be used and only the element of the evil computer with its own identity was retained, in addition to that the comedian Richard Pryor was introduced as a computer expert, which resulted in a rather unpopular character.
