Tesis is a Spanish film of suspense of 1996 written and directed by Alejandro Amenábar and starring by Ana Torrent, Fele Martinez and Eduardo Noriega. It is the first movie of Amenábar. It won several awards, including the Goya Award for best film, best original screenplay and best new director. Ángela, student of Image, is preparing a thesis on audiovisual violence, and meets Chema, a fellow expert in gore and pornographic film, and Bosco, a strange boy, close friend of a young woman murdered in a snuff movie.
